Tabitha is the Director of Curriculum and Instruction at TLS International.

Tabitha graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Secondary Education from Calvin College in 2012. She also obtained her Masters in Education (M.Ed) from the University of Washington College of Education in Curriculum & Instruction, primarily focusing on Language, Literacy and Culture. She is certified to teach in Michigan and Washington State schools as an English and English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher.

She has more than a decade of experience teaching in public and private schools in Michigan and Washington State, United States of America, as well as in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Before joining TLS International, Tabitha joined research opportunities in the United States to better curriculums and teaching practices in public schools. She also crafted curriculums for Taylor’s International School in Kuala Lumpur as the Assistant Head of English, Head of PSHE, and Head of Careers alongside teaching the IGCSE English and Literature syllabus to KS3 and KS4 students.

Tabitha has received training from the Cambridge IGCSE board and is experienced in teaching the IGCSE First Language (0500) and IGCSE Literature (0486) syllabus. She is also a trained and certified examiner for the Young Learners Examination (YLE).
